Doddington Parish Council will be holding a moment of reflection on the eve of the funeral of her late Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.
This will take pace outside the lych gate of St.Mary’s Church at 8pm on Sunday, 18th September, and will consist of the following:
A short announcement from the Chair of the Parish Council at 8pm followed by –
– One minute’s silence.
– Time for applause.
– The reading of the proclamation of King Charles III.
– The singing of one verse of the National Anthem.
All are welcome to attend, and we ask that you be assembed by 7.55pm at the very latest.
